AWARDED DEAR FRIENDS IN COMPASSIONATE HANDS IN KUŞADASI

Kuşadası Municipality continues to be a hope for homeless friends with the 'Haybulans' vehicle it has put into service for sick and injured stray animals. The devoted work of the haybulance teams, who help dozens of animals every day, is greatly welcomed by animal lovers.

Kuşadası Municipality, which sets an example for all of Turkey with its animal-friendly policies, continues to help dear friends on the street. In this context, Kuşadası Municipality, which has 2 Haybulans, which are fully equipped animal ambulance vehicles, has provided first aid to approximately 30 thousand sick or injured stray animals in line with the notifications made to Güvercin Masa between January 2023 and today. Depending on the seriousness of the situation, the dear friends were taken to Kuşadası Pet Rehabilitation Center and treated, and after they regained their health, they were released back to the points where they were taken.

Haybulans teams recently intervened in 2 kittens whose eyes were closed due to infection in Kadinlar Denizi District, and another cat who was injured after being hit by a car on Süleyman Demirel Boulevard. The cats were treated immediately by the veterinarian on duty in the Haybulans vehicle. The work carried out by Kuşadası Municipality for stray animals, which sees homeless friends as an integral part of city life, was also welcomed by animal lovers.

Kuşadası Mayor Ömer Günel stated that they are obliged to protect stray animals and said, “The animals that we see as our dear friends are entrusted to us. In addition to nutritional needs, we also have to meet treatment and rehabilitation needs with the same care and meticulousness. As Kuşadası Municipality, we continue our work for this purpose. Thanks to our Haybulans vehicles, stray animal death rates in Kuşadası have decreased significantly. "This situation makes us happy," he said.
