'CUBIC HOUSES DIFFERENT ASPECTS OF BEING' ART EXHIBITION OPENS IN IBRAMAKI

Kuşadası Municipality İbramaki Art Gallery started to host Yuliya Ergon's personal painting exhibition of ‘Cubic Houses, Different Aspects of Being'. The opening of the exhibition, which consists of works prepared by the artist using different techniques, was made by Kuşadası Deputy Mayor Efe Berberoğlu and Kuşadası City Council President Mustafa Ünver.
Ukrainian painter Yuliya Ergon's exhibition, consisting of paintings made with oil and acrylic techniques using the cubism movement, was presented to art lovers at İbramaki Art Gallery. The opening of the exhibition, which attracted great attention, was made by Kuşadası Deputy Mayor Efe Berberoğlu and Kuşadası City Council President Mustafa Ünver. The paintings which the artist drew after being influenced by the war between Ukraine and Russia and the Kahramanmaraş cantered earthquakes which occurred in Türkiye on February 6, 2023, can be seen free of charge until Friday, February 21.
“WAR AND EARTHQUAKES CHANGED MY PERSPECTIVE OF HOME”
Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, painter Yuliya Ergon said;
“Home is not only a place where we live, but also our connection with our roots and our history. Russia's invasion of Ukraine changed my perspective on the concept of home. While home used to mean security and stability to me, now it no longer means this. I would also like to thank our Mayor of Kuşadası, Ömer Günel, for opening the doors of İbramaki Art Gallery to me."
“I HOPE THIS IS NEVER EXPERIENCED AGAIN”
Kuşadası Deputy Mayor Efe Berberoğlu said;
“The destruction that comes with war and earthquakes are very painful events for humanity. I hope such events is never be experienced in the world and in our country ever again. I hope that the war between Ukraine and Russia will end as soon as possible and the people who had to leave their homes can return to their homeland."
