FREE HEALTHY NUTRITION EDUCATION AT MOTHER-DAD-CHILD CENTER

The Parent and Child Center, located within the Cafer Kotan Life Park, which was brought to the city in İkiçeşmelik District by Kuşadası Municipality, continues to appeal to city residents from different segments, especially women and children, with free training and workshops. Healthy nutrition and weight management training was given to adults at the Parents and Children Center, which has hosted many educational events since the day it opened its doors.

Within the scope of the training and awareness-raising activities aimed at protecting public health, the healthy nutrition and weight management training held on Mondays by Aysen Arıcan Öz and Melisa Akol Demir, expert dietitians working in Kuşadası Municipality, lastly taught the participants how to make healthy tiramisu. On the other hand, information was given on food groups, units of measurement in nutrition and balanced nutrition, and attention was drawn to the importance of gaining balanced nutrition habits against chronic and metabolic diseases. An appointment was made for participants who wanted to receive individual dietitian services after healthy nutrition and weight management training.
