INTERNET TRAINING FROM A TO Z FROM KUŞADASI MUNICIPALITY TO WOMEN

Istasyon Kuşadası Community Centre, opened by Kuşadası Municipality in cooperation with Habitat Association, hosted the technological literacy training for women in Kuşadası. During the training, which lasted approximately 3 hours, participants were informed about topics such as basic internet use, digital security, and artificial intelligence
Istasyon Kuşadası, the first Community Centre, opened in cooperation with a municipality in Türkiye, continues to open its doors to free trainings for women in different areas. In this context, the centre recently organized technology literacy training for women so that they can use the internet effectively and efficiently in the digitalizing world. In the program, which attracted great interest from women in Kuşadası, Technology Trainer Abide Tuncer gave detailed information to women on subjects such as basic internet knowledge, digital security, basic design tools, e-services offered by the state and artificial intelligence. At the end of the training, which Kuşadası Deputy Mayor Ayşegül Taşdelen Dağlı also attended, women were given certificates.
Stating that the technology literacy training was very useful for her, retired teacher Şerife Karagöz said;
“Before participating in this program, I had very little knowledge about using the internet. Now I have gained knowledge on many subjects. I would like to thank Kuşadası Municipality very much."
Activist Hülya Çelebi said;
“This is the first time I attended such a training program. It was very useful for me. I invite all women living in Kuşadası to participate in such events. I would like to thank our Mayor Ömer Günel for offering us this opportunity," he said.

Kuşadası Deputy Mayor Ayşegül Dağlı said;
“Today is the age of technology and internet. Such trainings for our women from Kuşadası will continue. Our aim here is for our women to develop themselves socio-economically. Those who participate in the training program will have the opportunity to practice in the workshop to be held next week."
