KUŞADANS WILL CELEBRATE THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY WITH A WALLS SHOW FOR 100 PEOPLE

Kuşadası City Council is preparing to present a magnificent waltz show to the people of Kuşadası with a group of 100 volunteers, within the scope of the 100th anniversary celebrations of the Republic. The group, which rehearses for 2 hours every day with dance instructors, is looking forward to the 29 October Republic Day.

The 100th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic will be celebrated with great enthusiasm in Kuşadası, as in all of Turkey. In this context, Kuşadası City Council will present a magnificent waltz show to the people of Kuşadası at İsmail Cem Friendship and Peace Square. Kuşadası City Council rehearses for 2 hours every day with a team of 100 volunteers for the waltz show, one of the favorite dances of the Great Leader Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. Dance instructors living in Kuşadası accompany the group for the rehearsals of the waltz, which, like all ballroom dances, is performed in pairs.

Kuşadası City Council President Mustafa Ünver said, “First of all, I would like to thank everyone who showed great interest in participating in our event. We continue our work uninterruptedly with the joy and excitement of celebrating the centennial of our Republic. "We will present a very nice waltz show to the people of Kuşada," he said.

Retired Turkish Language and Literature teacher Güler Yiğit said that she was very happy to be involved in such a beautiful project. Yiğit said, “I raised generations in Kuşadası who held on to the values of the Republic and adopted Atatürk's principles. "Our beautiful city will continue to be the bastion of the Republic and freedoms," he said.
