KUŞADASI MUNICIPALITY ADDED A NEW ONE TO ITS SERVICES

The Home Care Unit, established by Kuşadası Municipality, started to visit elderly and disabled citizens in their homes and provide regular barber and hairdresser services.

The Home Care Unit, affiliated with the Directorate of Social Assistance Affairs, established by Kuşadası Municipality for citizens who have difficulty in doing housework and personal care due to being bedridden, elderly or disabled, continues its work. The team, consisting of a total of 19 people, including planning and field staff, visits the people in need at their homes, determined in line with the applications made to Güvercin Masa via the phone number 444 71 14, and performs house cleaning and personal care. The services offered by the Home Care Unit are welcomed by citizens.

The Home Care Unit has expanded its staff in order to reach more people in need throughout the city, improve their quality of life and provide services in different areas. In this context, the unit started to provide hairdresser and barber services in their homes to patients and elderly people who cannot go out. Home Care Unit staff went to the homes of 4 people living in Bayraklıdede and Kadinlar Denizi neighborhoods, who applied to Güvercin Masa through their relatives, and provided haircuts, beard shaves, and hand and foot care.

Stating that her mother, Zerrin Sezer, had to live bedridden for a while due to her illness, Seher Baş said, “The friendly and helpful staff of Kuşadası Municipality regularly come to our house and give my mother a bath. We are very happy that hairdresser services have now started to be provided. Because this service was really needed. "I would like to thank our president Ömer Günel very much," he said.
