KUŞADASI MUNICIPALITY ASSISTS FIRE COMBAT EFFORTS IN SÖKE
Kuşadası Municipality sent water tankers to the region to support the extinguishing efforts of a fire which broke out in a paper factory in Söke.
A fire broke out yesterday at around 11:00 for an unknown reason at a paper factory in the Söke Organized Industrial Zone. The fire, which started in an area where compressed waste paper was stored, spread quickly due to the wind. Health, fire, and police teams were dispatched to the area upon notification. Fire crews arrived at the scene in a short time and began extinguishing the fire. Kuşadası Municipality also mobilized to extinguish the fire from the moment it first broke out. In this context, 2 water tankers belonging to the Machinery Supply, Maintenance and Repair Department were sent to the area. The tankers in Söke provide the necessary water support to the fire department on site.
