KUSADASI MUNICIPALITY HELD THE WOUNDS OF THE FIRE

MAYOR ÖMER GÜNEL: “NO ONE OF OUR CITIZENS SHOULD FEEL HELPFUL”

Kuşadası Municipality extended a helping hand to Murat Kaya, one of the popular tradesmen of Kuşadası, whose house was damaged in a fire in Hacıfeyzullah District. While Kaya was first placed in a hotel by the Directorate of Social Assistance Affairs teams and her shelter needs were met, Mayor Ömer Günel said, "We will provide the support we can for her and alleviate her grievance."

A fire broke out in the single-storey house located on Mercan Street in Hacıfeyzullah District at around 23:30 last night. In the fire that broke out for an unknown reason, the house where Murat Kaya, one of the popular tradesmen of Kuşadası Municipality Fish Market, stayed as a tenant, became unusable. After the incident, which was avoided without loss of life, Kuşadası Municipality extended a helping hand to Murat Kaya. In the first stage, Mayor Ömer Günel met with Murat Kaya and asked about his needs. The Social Assistance Affairs Directorate teams took action after the meeting and met Kaya's personal needs. Later, Kaya was placed in a hotel by the teams and the accommodation problem was solved. Kaya, whose grievance was resolved, thanked Kuşadası Mayor Ömer Günel.

Kuşadası Mayor Ömer Günel said, “Murat Kaya's house burned down last night and was seriously damaged. We met and talked to him today. We conveyed our wishes to get well soon. We will provide all the support we can for Murat Kaya and alleviate his grievance. No citizen of Kuşadası should feel alone or helpless. "As Kuşadası Municipality, we are always with them," he said.
