KUŞADASI MUNICIPALITY RAISES AWARENESS OF EXPECTING MOTHERS

Training and workshops continue at the Parent-Child Center, which was brought to the city by Kuşadası Municipality in order to contribute to the personal development of children and the awareness process of parents. In the Pregnancy and Birth Preparation Academy courses, which are held free of charge once a week at the center, nurses from Kuşadası Municipality provide training to ensure that expectant mothers have a healthy pregnancy.

The Mother-Father and Child Center, opened by Kuşadası Municipality at Güler Aydın Süzgeç Social Facility in Cafer Kotan Park in İkiçeşmelik District, hosts expectant mothers every Wednesday on Wednesdays. At the center, expectant mothers are provided with enlightening information and practical training on subjects such as reducing the fear of birth, newborn baby care and first aid for babies, free of charge, by expert nurses. In the courses given by the Pregnancy and Birth Preparation Academy in two sessions, morning and afternoon, expectant mothers are prepared for the physical and psychological changes they will experience during pregnancy and after birth. At the same time, expectant mothers also do pregnancy and breathing exercises with the help of experts within the scope of the course. Expectant mothers who attend the four-week courses are given a "Welcome Baby Care Bag" as a gift, which includes a blanket, baby shampoo and diaper, thermometer, nail clippers, feeding bottle, pacifier and newborn kit, after completing the course. In addition, children who come to the course with their mothers can participate in various activities and activities accompanied by child development experts in the playroom at the center during the course.
