LITTLE ARTISTS HAD AN ENJOYABLE TIME IN NEOPOLIS

The 'clay workshop for children' organized within the scope of the 4th International Kuşadası Neopolis Sculpture Symposium attracted great attention from the children of Kuşadası. 250 children who attended the event had a pleasant time shaping clay with the symposium sculptors and were also introduced to the art of sculpture.

The International Kuşadası Neopolis Sculpture Symposium, organized for the 4th time this year in cooperation with Kuşadası Municipality, Kuşadası Golden Pigeon Culture Art and Promotion Foundation (KUSAV), Mehmet Nuri Göçen Culture Education and Art Foundation and ARYA A.Ş., hosted its little guests. A total of 250 children in 8 groups attended the clay workshop held twice for children within the scope of the symposium. The children, who visited the area accompanied by sculptors and their teachers and received information about the sculptures, learned to carve marble blocks by writing a special text on one of the marble blocks for the 100th anniversary of the Republic, under the supervision of curator and sculptor Hakan Şengönül. Later, the students made different shapes from clay and had a pleasant time throughout the day.

“THEY WILL SHAPE TURKEY'S FUTURE”

Stating that children will shape the future, sculptor Hakan Şengönül said, “Today, we hosted our precious children who will shape the future of Turkey and perhaps the world, in the symposium area. Some of them will become artists in the future. Today, they gained an unforgettable art experience here that they will be happy to remember in the future. "It is very valuable for us to spend time with them and inform them even a little about art," he said.
