THEY WILL BUY FOOD FOR STREET ANIMALS WITH THE INCOME THEY EARN

Members of the Kuşadası City Council Children's Council harvested summer in Adabahçe, which was implemented by Kuşadası Municipality to improve agricultural production and ensure that consumers have direct access to healthy food. Children will buy food for stray animals with the income they will earn from the sale of the products they collect.

In Adabahçe, which was implemented in 2020 by Kuşadası Municipality with the slogan "Hug the Soil, Participate in Production" under the leadership of Mayor Ömer Günel, members of the Kuşadası City Council Children's Council planted summer seedlings last June. As the crops matured over time, the children went to Adabahçe and harvested. Little hands collected vegetables and fruits such as cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, zucchinis, cucumbers, melons and watermelons grown in the approximately 300 square meters area reserved for them and placed them in crates. Members of the Kuşadası City Council Children's Council, who are very happy to participate in agricultural production, will sell their products at the local producer exhibition established every Thursday in Cumhuriyet District Burç Street in Kuşadası. With the income they earn, they will buy food for stray animals and use it to meet their various needs.

Kuşadası City Council Children's Council President Yağmur Ece Öncen stated that they implemented the project to draw attention to the needs of homeless dear friends and said, “We were really happy to see that the seedlings we planted with great effort turned into agricultural products in Adabahçe. Doing this for stray animals also brought great happiness to me and my friends. "I would like to thank our Mayor Ömer Günel for providing us with this opportunity," he said.
