LOYALTY TO MAFFY FROM KUŞADASI MUNICIPALITY

The October ordinary meeting of Kuşadası Municipal Council was held at Pera Wedding Hall under the chairmanship of Kuşadası Municipal Council Deputy Chairman Gürol Turhan.

At the meeting, where the issues received from the directorates and referred to the commissions were discussed, it was decided to build the grave of the world-famous jazz artist from Kuşadası, Ahmet Muvaffak Falay, nicknamed "Maffy", who died last year at the age of 92. According to the unanimous decision, the grave of the famous jazz artist Falay, who was buried in Kuşadası Yeniköy Asri Cemetery in accordance with his will, will be built by Kuşadası Municipality.

NEW MUSEUMS

An important decision was taken by the Kuşadası Municipal Council to turn the Historical Caravanserai, one of the symbols of the city, into a museum. According to the decision, which will make a significant contribution to the cultural life of the city, the Kervansaray will host various museums, including Anatolian handicrafts, after the Porcelain Doll Museum. New museums will be established with a protocol signed between Mayor Ömer Günel and collector Haluk Perk.

PROMOTION OF KUSADASI IN LONDON

At the meeting, the decision to participate in World Travel Market London, one of the most important tourism fairs in the world, was also taken. The fair, which is of great importance for the promotion of Kuşadası in the British market, will take place in London, the capital of England, between 6-8 November.

MATERIAL SUPPORT TO KUŞADALI FISHERMEN

The assembly meeting was also about the fishermen operating in Kuşadası. According to the decision, Kuşadası Municipality will provide material support to fishermen in need. The materials will be delivered to fishermen in a short time.
