Kuşadası Mayor Ömer Günel congratulated the members of the People's Alliance Group of the Municipal Council on the May 28 elections and said, "Due to our belief in democracy, we have infinite respect for the result of the ballot box. Kuşadası Municipal Council's regular June meeting was held at Pera Wedding Hall under the chairmanship of Kuşadası Mayor Ömer Günel. Young football players and coaches of Kuşadası Küçükadaspor, which achieved a significant success by placing first in the 2022-2023 Season U16 Turkish Championship Final played in Bolu the previous day, were guests at the meeting. Congratulating the club players and coaches for their success, President Ömer Günel said, “I would like to thank all of you for representing Kuşadası in the best possible way. Thank you for your effort. You made us proud. "We are always with you," he said. At the meeting, it was also decided to provide 75 thousand TL cash aid to Küçükadaspor so that it can participate in the competition to be held in Uşak in the coming days.

At the meeting, where the issues coming from the directorates and referred to the commissions were discussed, elections were held for the first deputy chairman of the parliament and union member positions, which were vacated by Hasan Çelik, who recently resigned from his position as a council member due to health problems. Accordingly, Gürol Turhan was elected as the first vice president, Vedat Kazancıoğlu was elected as a substitute member of the Energy Cities Association, and Metin Uğur was elected as a member of the Aegean and Marmara Environmental Municipalities Association.

HOSTED 11 THOUSAND 574 VISITORS IN 15 MONTHS

At the meeting, a presentation was also made about Istasyon Kuşadası Community Center, which was opened last year by Kuşadası Municipality in partnership with Habitat Association, Meta, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey and ICC (International Chamber of Commerce). In the presentation made by Project Manager Burcu Kanbal, it was stated that Station Kuşadası has hosted 11 thousand 574 visitors and hosted 283 events and trainings since the day it was opened. It was stated that a "green room" will be established within Istasyon Kuşadası in a short time, where Istasyon Academy and visitors can produce various digital content.
