MAYOR ÖMER GÜNEL: 'OUR TARGET IS TO GET AT LEAST 65 PERCENT OF THE VOTES'

'WE ARE IN GREAT HARMONY WITH THE CHP KUŞADASI DISTRICT ORGANIZATION'

Kuşadası Mayor Ömer Günel met with Mehmet Gürbilek, who regained confidence by being re-elected as the chairman of the Republican People's Party (CHP) Kuşadası District Organization, and the board members. Referring to the great harmony between the district organization and Kuşadası Municipality, Mayor Ömer Günel said, "Our goal in the upcoming local elections is to win the ballot box again by getting at least 65 percent of the votes."

CHP Kuşadası District Organization Chairman Mehmet Gürbilek visited Mayor Ömer Günel with the board of directors, including new members, after the congress held on August 16. During the visit to the Presidency, the planned work regarding the upcoming local elections and the road map to be followed were discussed. At the meeting, it was also noted that CHP Kuşadası District Organization had successfully completed the congress process and it was stated that it emerged from the process in a much stronger, energetic and dynamic structure.

'WE WILL WAVE CHP'S FLAG AGAIN'

Stating that Kuşadası is experiencing an era of service in every aspect, CHP Kuşadası District Organization Chairman Mehmet Gürbilek said, “We have started the local election activities. Together with our new members, we will continue these efforts, increasing them every day until election day. "Our goal will be to fly the flag of CHP in Kuşadası together with our Mayor Ömer Günel in 2024," he said.

Stating that Kuşadası Municipality and CHP Kuşadası District Organization work in great harmony, Mayor Ömer Günel said, “I express on every platform how valuable and important my district organization is to me. I am very pleased with the harmonious work between us and our colleagues in the board of directors, women's branches and youth branches. "I believe that we will work as a much more conscious and stronger team together with our new friends who have joined us and the management and get at least 65 percent of the votes in the local elections to be held in Kuşadası," he said.
