NEW PARKS CONTINUE TO BREATHE KUŞADASI

Kuşadası Municipality continues its efforts to bring new green areas and parks to the city. In this context, while the works of Leftere Live Park and Nazar Boncuğu Park in Güzeçamlı District are completed, the teams continue their work in Panionion Park.

The amount of green space in Kuşadası, which entered a period of great change after Mayor Ömer Günel took office, is increasing every year. Within the scope of the work, Kuşadası Municipality Parks and Gardens Directorate teams are completing their work in Leftere Live Park and Nazar Boncuğu Park, where they are working simultaneously in Güzelçamlı District, and continue the renovation works they started in Panionion Park opposite the Night Market. While Kuşadası gains a more modern and aesthetic appearance with the new parks, children also have the opportunity to spend quality time with their families in a healthy environment.

THE 24-YEAR-OLD PARK WAS RENEWED BY KUŞADASI MUNICIPALITY

Teams affiliated with the Parks and Gardens Directorate renovated the Leftere Live Park, which is located in Güzelçamlı District and has been waiting to be organized for 24 years, and brought it to the city. The teams first renewed the irrigation, electricity and septic tank infrastructure of the Leftere Live Park on Özer Türk Street, and renovated the existing unusable men's and women's toilets in an area of 1860 square meters and built toilets for disabled citizens. The teams increased the amount of green space in the area from 600 square meters to 926 square meters, paved the walking path with granite-faced begonite stone and placed lighting poles around it. In order to create a safer playground for children, the teams renewed the old playgrounds in the area and laid rubber floors in the playground.

EVIL BEAD FOR GÜZELÇAMLI

In Nazar Boncuğu Park, the teams first built the irrigation and electricity infrastructure and then built a wall using stones suitable for the urban texture. The teams laid grass on 400 square meters of the 750 square meter area, and walking paths were also built in the area. While a children's playground and sports equipment were placed in the 110 square meter area of the park, the teams lastly planted mulberry trees in the area where they placed the lighting poles and seating groups so that the residents of the neighborhood can have a pleasant time in the shade in the summer heat.

GREEN WILL MEET HISTORY

Kuşadası Municipality Parks and Gardens Directorate teams are simultaneously continuing their renovation works in the park named after Panionion, which is located opposite the Güzelçamlı District Night Market and was the meeting center of 12 Ionian cities in ancient times. In the work carried out on a total area of 7 thousand 320 square meters, the park's automatic irrigation systems, lighting and urban furniture are completely renewed. The amount of green space will be increased in the park, where walking paths will also be built. The renovation work will be completed by building amphitheatre-style stepped seating groups in the center of the park and placing fiber columns representing 12 Ionian cities.

Retired teacher Özlem Yatağan, one of the residents of the neighborhood, stated that they were very pleased with the work and said, “Parks that have not been renewed for a long time are being renewed and brought to our city. "The work makes us very happy," he said.
