PRESIDENT ÖMER GÜNEL IN THE PRESENCE OF ATA WITH 100 CHILDREN ON THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE REPUBLIC

On the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic, Kuşadası Mayor Ömer Günel went to Anıtkabir with 100 children from Kuşadası and their families and appeared before Atatürk. President Ömer Günel, who laid a wreath at Atatürk's mausoleum, said, “I am proud to be here with our children, who are the guarantee of the Republic and our future. "My ancestor, the Republic you founded will live forever," he said.

Kuşadası Municipality took 100 primary school students in the city to Ankara to visit Anıtkabir with their families on the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the Republic. The children, who were very excited to appear before Ata, were sent off to Ankara by buses from İsmail Cem Friendship and Peace Square by Deputy Mayor Gürol Turhan and District Director of National Education İbrahim Ataman. Reaching Ankara after a pleasant journey, the children from Kuşadası started the day with breakfast in Çukurambar. The students then visited the 1st GNAT (War of Independence Museum) and 2nd GNAT (Republic Museum) buildings in Ulus. The children received information about the exhibited works from museum staff and took many souvenir photos with their parents. The children and parents then came to Anıtkabir and met with Kuşadası Mayor Ömer Günel at the entrance of the Lion Road. Here, Turkish Flags were distributed to children from Kuşadası and their families. Mayor Ömer Günel entered Anıtkabir by walking through the Lion Road with the children.

Children from Kuşadası first visited the Anıtkabir Museum in Anıtkabir. Then the official ceremony started. At the ceremony, President Ömer Günel laid a wreath on the mausoleum of the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and observed a moment of silence. After taking a souvenir photo on the steps of Anıtkabir with the children accompanying him, Mayor Ömer Günel went to the National Pact Tower and signed the Anıtkabir Special Book and wrote: “Atam, we are in your presence with 100 representatives of Kuşadası of the youth to whom you entrusted the Republic on the 100th anniversary of the Republic. . We promise to fight until the last drop of our blood to keep the Republic alive forever. “With the deepest love, respect and gratitude.”

Stating that they made a very meaningful visit with the children to whom the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk entrusted the republic on the 100th anniversary of the Republic, President Ömer Günel said, “With just a short time before we celebrate the 100th anniversary of our Republic, we met with 100 children from Kuşadası who have never seen Anıtkabir. We came to visit our Ancestor together. We showed them around the important places in Ankara symbolizing the War of Independence and the establishment of the Republic. We are proud and happy to be in the presence of our Father with our children, who are the guarantee of our future and the Republic. "Our Republic, founded by the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, will live forever," he said.
