During the work which lasts until the late hours of the night, the market area is thoroughly cleaned and made safe and hygienic for the next day.

In the multi-storey Enclosed Market in Kuşadası's Hacıfeyzullah District, a vegetable and fruit market is held on Tuesdays and Fridays, and a textile market is held on Wednesdays. City residents and local and foreign tourists show great interest in the market the stalls of which are decorated with hundreds of types of agricultural products as well as colourful clothing. The market, where shopping traffic begins in the early hours of the morning when marketers set up their stalls, hosts tens of thousands of people until closing time.

After the marketers gather their stalls with the happiness of having a fruitful day, the busy work of the Kuşadası Municipality Cleaning Works Department begins in the market with a special team who collects the vegetables, fruits and other wastes left behind and sweep and disinfect by washing with hot foamy water. With the feverish work which continues until late at night, the Enclosed Market thus made ready again for the next market day so that Kuşadası residents can shop in a healthy and hygienic environment.
