Kuşadası Municipality has increased its inspections of hotels and hostels, whose occupancy rates have increased in the city with the start of the tourism season. Inspections carried out by food engineers working in Kuşadası Municipality and Police Department personnel checked whether businesses complied with hygiene and working rules.

With the start of the summer season in Kuşadası, one of Turkey's important tourism centers, occupancy rates in hotels and hostels have risen to 90 percent. Kuşadası Municipality has also accelerated its inspections of touristic establishments in order to ensure that local and foreign tourists who come to visit the city can stay in a healthy and safe environment. In this context, in the inspections carried out by the food engineers working in Kuşadası Municipality and the Police Department personnel, it was checked whether the workshop sections of the enterprises comply with the hygiene rules. During the inspection, the expiration dates of the products used were also checked, as well as the licenses of the businesses and the compliance of the employees with the hygiene rules. It was stated that the inspections will continue uninterrupted throughout the tourism season.
