KUŞADASI MUNICIPALITY'S WINTER PREPARATIONS WORKED

KUSADASI DID NOT SURRENDER TO THE RAIN

During the thunderstorm that hit Kuşadası last night, Kuşadası Municipality teams worked day and night to prevent any negativities that may occur throughout the city. The teams immediately intervened in the rainwater channels and drains that were blocked due to foreign objects. In addition, the newly manufactured rainwater grids by the Directorate of Technical Affairs teams in different parts of the city prevented possible floods.

Following the rain and storm warning issued for Aydın by the General Directorate of Meteorology and the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD), a heavy downpour hit Kuşadası last night. Kuşadası Municipality, upon the instructions of Mayor Ömer Günel, went to the field with all its teams from the first moment the warning was made to prevent any negativities in the city. The alert teams immediately intervened in the disruptions experienced in different parts of the city, especially in the coastal strip where traffic flow is heavy, Güvercinada Street and Ege, Cumhuriyet and Kadın Denizi neighborhoods.

NEWLY MANUFACTURED RAINWATER GRILLS PREVENTED POSSIBLE FLOODS

Newly manufactured rainwater grids and channels in places previously determined by the Directorate of Civil Works teams prevented possible floods. Emergency Response Unit teams cleaned the rainwater channels and grates that were blocked due to foreign substances. Parks and Gardens Directorate teams removed the trees that fell on the roads. The work of Kuşadası Municipality was appreciated by the residents of the city.
