THREE MASTER PENS OF TURKISH LITERATURE ARE NOT FORGOTTEN

Master poets and writers Ahmed Arif, Nazım Hikmet and Orhan Kemal, who lost their lives in the first week of June, were commemorated with various events held in Kuşadası.

A commemoration event was held in Güzelçamlı District of Kuşadası on the first week of June, when the three great names of Turkish Literature, Ahmed Arif, Nazım Hikmet and Orhan Kemal, passed away. Many Kuşadası residents, as well as Kuşadası City Council President Mustafa Ünver, attended the commemoration event organized in cooperation with Kuşadası Municipality, Kuşadası City Council Culture and Arts Assembly, Atlasfolk Culture and Arts Club, Güvercinada Art Platform and Güzelçamlı Solidarity Platform. In the show "It's Hard to Die in June", directed by Nurten Herik, where the life stories of Orhan Kemal, Ahmed Arif and Nazım Hikmet, who lost their lives in the first week of June and who are powerful writers of Turkish Literature, are told in a theatrical style, Atlasfolk Culture The theater show and music concert performed by the Art Club received a standing ovation. At the same time, many poems composed by master writers that have survived to the present day were also performed. At the end of the show, Kuşadası City Council President Mustafa Ünver gave a certificate of appreciation and flowers to those who contributed to the event.
