AYDIN METROPOLITAN MUNICIPALITY HEADMEN MEETING WAS HELD IN KUŞADASI

Upon the invitation of Aydın Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Özlem Çerçioğlu, the headmen working in Aydın came together in Kuşadası. At the meeting attended by Kuşadası Mayor Ömer Günel, Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Özlem Çerçioğlu stated that they have invested 1 billion 965 million TL in Kuşadası in the last 4 and a half years.

A headmen's meeting was held by Aydın Metropolitan Municipality in Kuşadası. On the first day of the two-day headman meeting, Metropolitan Mayor Özlem Çerçioğlu and Kuşadası Mayor Ömer Günel met with the headmen working in the western region of Aydın province. At the meeting attended by Aydın Metropolitan Municipality bureaucrats, Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Özlem Çerçioğlu made a presentation to the headmen about the investments made in Aydın in the last 4 and a half years and listened to the demands and suggestions of the headmen.

In his presentation, Metropolitan Mayor Özlem Çerçioğlu stated that he made a record investment in Kuşadası and thanked Kuşadası Mayor Ömer Günel for his support. Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Özlem Çerçioğlu said, “We did very good work in Kuşadası with Kuşadası Mayor Ömer Günel. In the last 4 and a half years, we have invested a total of 1 billion 965 million TL in our tourism center Kuşadası. It is easy to say that we completed 199 kilometers of road and 493 kilometers of line work. If we had not done these, Kuşadası would not continue to receive so many tourists. In addition, the Advanced Biological Wastewater Treatment Plant we have built in the city is one of the most important projects. A hotel was going to be built in the Tariş area in the city center, but we expropriated the area and opened it to the use of citizens as a joint service building of Aydın Metropolitan Municipality and Kuşadası Municipality. At the same time, there is a parking lot under the area we brought to the city as a green area. We put Atatürk 1 and 2 intersections into service as one-way with our traffic calming project. This project prevented traffic congestion, especially during the tourism season. With the plane wreck, we have brought a different tourism route to the city. Ada Camping camping area, which we brought to the city together with Kuşadası Mayor Ömer Günel, became one of the most preferred regions after the changing understanding of tourism with the pandemic. "We have hosted 55 thousand local and foreign tourists since it opened," he said.
