Kuşadası Municipal Council July Ordinary Meeting was held under the chairmanship of Kuşadası Mayor Ömer Günel. At the assembly meeting, the call of the National Alliance Assembly Members to the People's Alliance assembly members, "Let's put our hands under the responsibility for our city together" attracted attention.

Speaking at the Municipal Council meeting, Tourism Commission Chairman Fahrettin Çiçek stated that the General Directorate of Highways has not invested in Kuşadası for a long time, while Municipal Council Member and İyi Party Kuşadası District Chairman Hayati Atlı drew attention to the lighting problem throughout the city.

“WHY DOES HIGHWAYS NOT INVEST IN KUŞADASI?”

Municipal Council Member and Tourism Commission Chairman Fahrettin Çiçek stated that more than 2 million holidaymakers came to the city during the holiday and said that there was traffic congestion in certain areas within the authority and responsibility of the General Directorate of Highways. Fahrettin Çiçek said, “Especially the fact that the short distance between Kuşdür and Adakule intersections can only be used as a round trip is one of the biggest reasons for the traffic congestion. There has been no investment in our region by highways for a long time. Work needs to be done at the intersections I mentioned and the road in question needs to be widened to at least 3 lanes. "I request the support of the AK Party Parliament group," he said.

“ARE THE DARK STREETS AND AREAS CONSIDERED FOR THE TOURISM CITY?”

Municipal Council Member and İyi Party Kuşadası District Chairman Hayati Atlı brought up the electricity and lighting issue in the city and called on the People's Alliance group to 'let's work together for the city'. Underlining that light means civilization, Hayati Atlı said, “Unfortunately, as city residents, we have been deprived of light in Kuşadası for a long time. It saddens us that our city is in darkness while we are creating beautiful, bright parks with the decisions we made together. The electricity distribution company in our region does not do any serious work on this issue. "Let's take responsibility together," he said, asking the AKP Parliamentary group to provide more serious support in solving urban problems.

Speaking after Çiçek and Atlı, Mayor Ömer Günel pointed out that although AYDEM was notified of the problems with electricity and lighting, no intervention was made and said, “There is an institutional problem in Aydem. We are tired of writing, they are not tired of not writing. Everyone has a responsibility in this regard. "Let's all do our part," he said.
