CEREMONY FOR HEADMEN'S DAY IN KUŞADASI

A program was organized in Kuşadası for 19 October Mukhtars' Day. The program started with a breakfast held at Bülent Ecevit Park Arya Facility and then continued with a wreath-laying ceremony in Atatürk Square.

Mukhtars' Day program in Kuşadası started with a breakfast held at Bülent Ecevit Park Arya Facility. Kuşadası District Governor İbrahim Keklik, Deputy Mayor Seyfi Seyhan Suvari, District Gendarmerie Commander Major Deniz Kurt, Coast Guard Station Commander Major Özgür Lafçı, unit managers and headmen attended the breakfast. After breakfast, the program continued with the ceremony held in Atatürk Square. Following the reading of the National Anthem and a moment of silence at the ceremony, a wreath was laid at the Atatürk Monument by Hacıfeyzullah Neighborhood Headman Salih Sargın, the oldest headman of Kuşadası. Then, Kuşadası Deputy Mayor Gürol Turhan hosted the muhtars in the council hall in the new municipality building. During the visit accompanied by Deputy Mayors Seyfi Seyhan Suvari and Oğuzhan Turan, Deputy Mayor Gürol Turhan listened to the demands and suggestions of the headmen.
