DETAILED HYGIENE AND CLEANING WORK IN DAMLACIK STREAM
Kuşadası Municipality continues its detailed hygiene and cleaning works it has initiated in Damlacık Stream, which passes through the city centre.
Within the scope of the program determined for city hygiene, Kuşadası Municipality, which continues its work 24/7 at different points, has also intensified its cleaning work with the beginning of the high tourism season. In this context, the municipal Cleaning Works Department teams have carried out detailed hygiene work in the Damlacık Stream where there is uncertainty about which public institution’s responsibility it falls in including its maintenance. The teams cleaned the mud and the moss layer which causes bad smell especially in hot weather with the help of a construction machine lowered to the bottom of the stream. The tradesmen and Kuşadası residents who welcomed the work thanked Mayor Ömer Günel.
