DIFFERENT STYLES 'INTERESTED' IN ADA MODERN

Ada Modern Art Gallery started to host the group painting exhibition titled 'Intertwined', prepared by 12 of Turkey's leading painters in different techniques and disciplines. The exhibition, selected from the Özlem Yerli collection and featuring various thematic approaches, can be visited until April 12.

The group painting exhibition titled 'Intertwined' was opened with a cocktail at the Ada Modern Art Gallery, which was established in cooperation with Kuşadası Municipality and Kuşadası Altın Güvercin Culture, Art and Promotion Foundation (KUSAV). Kuşadası Mayor Ömer Günel, his wife Duygu Günel, deputy mayors, municipal council members, owner of the collection Özlem Alıcı, television programmer and musician Ayhan Sicimoğlu and KUSAV President Levent Köylü attended the opening of the exhibition along with many guests. Ada Modern Art Gallery is hosting a group painting exhibition for the first time since its opening. The exhibition includes 19 works made by 12 of Turkey's leading painters in different techniques and disciplines. The works selected from the Özlem Alici collection aim to make the audience share in the change and transformation of art.

ARTISTS FROM DIFFERENT GENERATIONS TOGETHER

The exhibition, which makes visible the new dynamics in today's art world and reveals the conceptual similarities of current approaches in different geographies, also aims to show people the common nature of art that transcends its borders. In the exhibition, where different styles are intertwined, a cultural, emotional and artistic bond is established between each work and the audience who will interpret the works of that artist. The exhibition, which also brings together the audience with abstract works that will raise awareness in meaning and perception processes, brings together Turkey's well-known artists from different generations. The exhibition titled 'Inside One', which includes the works of Ali Omar, Avni Akmehmetoğlu, Devrim Erbil, Erkan Yaprakkıran, Gürsel Soyel, Meray Akmut, Mustafa Özkan, Nur Gürel, Resul Aytemür, Semih Zeki, Serkan Yüksel and Şahin Paksoy, is until April 12 can be visited.

“A FIRST IN ADA MODERN”

Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, KUSAV President Levent Köylü said, “Our journey at Ada Modern Art Gallery continues today with a painting exhibition for the first time. The feature of this exhibition is that it is also a collection exhibition. I would like to thank Özlem Alici for opening her collection to us. "We reopened our doors with 19 works of 12 valuable painters," he said.

 “WE LOAD ART TO THE CITY”

Kuşadası Mayor Ömer Günel said, “While realizing the Ada Modern Art Gallery, we took as an example the important art galleries in metropolitan cities such as Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir and Bursa. We really wanted to host works of art at national and international levels. Thanks to Ada Modern Art Gallery, we are changing our city spiritually by loading it with art. "Kuşadası has begun to become a leader not only in tourism but also in culture and art activities," he said.

The owner of the collection, Özlem Alternatif, said: “Ada Modern Art Gallery is a very enjoyable gallery. Kuşadası residents are very lucky to have such a gallery. "I congratulate Kuşadası Mayor Ömer Günel and KUSAV President Levent Köylü," he said.
