EID EID SUPPORT FROM KUŞADASI MUNICIPALITY TO EARTHQUAKE SURVIVORS

Kuşadası Municipality does not leave the families of earthquake victims who came to the city from the disaster areas affected by the February 6 earthquakes alone. The Directorate of Social Assistance Affairs, which has continued to support the earthquake victims who came to the city since the first day of the earthquake, in all their needs, recently provided food parcel support to the earthquake victims before Eid al-Adha.

Kuşadası Municipality continues to lend a helping hand to citizens who moved away from the disaster area and took shelter in Kuşadası after the earthquakes that occurred in Pazarcık and Elbistan districts of Kahramanmaraş and caused destruction in many provinces. In this context, teams affiliated with the Directorate of Social Aid Affairs visited approximately 100 earthquake-affected families settled in the city at their homes and provided hygiene and food parcel support before Eid al-Adha.

Kuşadası Deputy Mayor Seyfi Seyhan Suvari stated that the wounds of the February 6 earthquakes are still very fresh and that, as Kuşadası Municipality, they will continue to support the citizens affected by the earthquake and said, "Since the first day of the earthquake, we have rushed to the aid of earthquake-affected families both in the earthquake region and in our city, in line with their needs. We will not allow our citizens who come to our city after being affected by earthquakes to feel alone and helpless. "In this context, we delivered the food and hygiene packages we prepared for the Eid al-Adha, when the value of sharing and togetherness increases the most, to the families affected by the earthquake," he said.
