FINALISTS OF KUŞADASI GOLDEN GÜVECIN COMPOSITION COMPETITION ARE ANNOUNCED

The finalists of Turkey's first and only composition competition, Altın Güvercin, which will be held for the 26th time this year in Kuşadası, have been determined. The works selected as a result of the three-day evaluation by the Preliminary Jury will compete to be ranked on the grand final night.

The countdown has begun for the Golden Pigeon Composition Competition, which will take wing for the 26th time this year in cooperation with Aydın Metropolitan Municipality, Kuşadası Municipality and Kuşadası Golden Pigeon Culture, Art and Promotion Foundation (KUSAV). 10 finalist compositions were determined as a result of the technical and musical evaluations made at Istanbul Point Hotel by the Preliminary Jury, consisting of valuable music authorities, for the competition to which 291 compositions were applied.

The Preliminary Jury was presided over by Altın Güvercin Composition Competition Coordinator and producer Ali Rıza Türker, along with guitarist, composer and music instructor Ahmet Güvenç, composer, songwriter and performer Burhan Şeşen, composer, songwriter and performer Cihannur Özgür, Altın Güvercin Grand Orchestra Conductor Hakan. Süersan and arranger and MESAM Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors Selim Çaldıran were present.

The preliminary jury worked hard at Istanbul Point Hotel for 3 days to determine the 10 compositions that would make it to the final among the 155 compositions that were eliminated by the Selection Committee. The Preliminary Jury examined all the compositions, regardless of amateur or professional, in terms of their superiority over each other, and determined the 10 works that will make it to the finals.
