Kuşadası Mayor Ömer Günel published a get-well message due to the air attack carried out by Russia in the region, which includes Kuşadası's sister city Cherkasy. As the military operation launched by Russia against Ukraine leaves one and a half years behind, in the morning, Russia carried out an air attack on the cities of Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, and Cherkasy, the sister city of Kharkiv, Lviv and Kusadasi. It was announced that 18 people were injured and many buildings were severely damaged in the attack, which resulted in no loss of life.
