GREAT INTEREST IN KUŞADASI AT ITB BERLIN FAIR

MAYOR ÖMER GÜNEL: “WE ARE FURTHER STRENGTHENING KUŞADASI’S POSITION ABROAD”

Kuşadası Municipality participated in the ‘ITB Berlin Tourism Fair’ held in Germany as part of its efforts to promote the city. Mayor Ömer Günel, who visited the fair where the most important destinations and companies of the world tourism market took place in. Günel who met with participating agency representatives, said;

 “We are working with all our might to further strengthen Kuşadası’s position abroad.”

Kuşadası also took its place at the ‘ITB Berlin Tourism Fair’ which opened its doors in Berlin, the capital of Germany. Kuşadası stand attracted great attention at the fair where travel professionals met and business agreements were made. The natural, historical, and cultural riches and accommodation opportunities of the city were introduced to visitors at the stand area belonging to the Turkish Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) with the contributions of Kuşadası Municipality. Mayor Ömer Günel also visited the ITB Berlin Tourism Fair, which is among the largest tourism fairs in the world, and held one-on-one meetings with agency representatives to attract more tourists to the city. CHP Aydın Deputy Bülent Tezcan and Municipal Council Members Fahrettin Çiçek and Eda Yurtcan also participated in the fair.

Kuşadası Mayor Ömer Günel stating that the fairs were of great importance in terms of promoting tourism regions added;

 “We are at the ITB Berlin 2025 Fair, one of the most important fairs of the world tourism and travel sector. Together with our CHP Aydın Deputy Bülent Tezcan, we held meetings with sector representatives from different countries and made evaluations and studies to further strengthen Kuşadası’s position abroad. We think that tourism will make our tradesmen and business owners happy this year as it did last year. I hope that new records will be broken in the number of tourists and I wish you a good season in advance.”
