INFRASTRUCTURE WORKS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED IN GRAND AND ORIENT BAZAAR

The renovation works initiated by Kuşadası Municipality in cooperation with Aydın Metropolitan Municipality and relevant institutions in Grand and Orient Bazaar have come to an end. In the bazaars where infrastructure works have been completed, concrete is being poured in the areas where natural stone will be laid.

The works initiated by Kuşadası Municipality, which completely renovated the touristic bazaars in the city center last year and gave them a healthy infrastructure and an aesthetic appearance, continue uninterruptedly in the Grand and Orient Bazaars, the oldest bazaars of the city. Within the scope of the renovation works, which lasted one and a half months, the teams completed the infrastructure works in Grand and Orient Bazaar. Approximately 75 meters of rain water line was laid by Kuşadası Municipality Directorate of Technical Works teams and 80 meters of drinking water line was laid by ASKİ teams, and the electricity, telephone and internet infrastructures were renewed by the relevant institutions and made healthy.

Concrete was poured by the Kuşadası Municipality Directorate of Technical Affairs to form a floor for natural stone flooring in two tourist bazaars whose infrastructure was renewed. After the natural stone flooring process is completed in a short time, landscaping and facade arrangements will be made and the bazaars will be renewed to welcome the 2022 tourism season.

IT WILL PROVIDE ADDED VALUE TO TRADESMEN

Kuşadası Deputy Mayor Seyfi Seyhan Suvari, together with Municipal Council Members Mehmet Sarıdedeoğlu and Emre Fazlılar, examined the ongoing works in Grand and Orient Bazaar and chatted with the tradesmen. Stating that the renovation works in Grand and Orient Bazaar will be completed in a short time, Vice President Seyfi Seyhan Suvari said, “Kuşadası bazaars will welcome the 2022 tourism season completely renewed. Grand and Orient Bazaar will become a center of attraction for foreign tourists, especially those coming to our city by cruise ships. "This will provide significant added value to our tradesmen," he said.
