JAZZ NOTES ARE RISING WHERE THE SUN IS MOST BEAUTIFUL IN KUŞADASI

Kuşadası Municipality, in cooperation with Aydın Metropolitan Municipality, brought a new tourist attraction to the city. In this context, "Maffy Jazz Club", named after the world-famous jazz artist from Kuşadası Ahmet Muvaffak Falay, and "Ada Sunset Beach Club", where the most beautiful sunset of Kuşadası can be watched, were opened.

ARYA A.Ş., owned by Kuşadası Municipality. "Maffy Jazz Club" and "Ada Sunset Beach Club", which will serve within the scope of the event, opened their doors to their guests. The venue, which will feature delicious food and drinks accompanied by the unique view of Kuşadası and live jazz music performances, was opened with a cocktail party on Türkmen Mahallesi Gazi Beğendi Boulevard. Aydın Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Özlem Çerçioğlu, Kuşadası Mayor Ömer Günel and his wife Duygu Gül Günel, KUSAV President Levent Köylü, representatives of political parties, council members, deputy mayors, unit managers and members of the press attended the opening.

Speaking at the opening, Kuşadası Mayor Ömer Günel stated that they are working to expand Kuşadası's tourism routes by highlighting the city's touristic routes and said: "We are working to bring the best points of our city to tourism. This place used to be a very beautiful and lively beach as Sunset beach. Over time, it disappeared from Kuşadası's agenda. Our goal after opening Ada Asansör Retoran with Aydın Metropolitan Municipality was to bring this place back to tourism. We used the old building in the closed area and turned it into a jazz club. We named this place 'Maffy' to keep alive the memory of Ahmet Muvaffak Falay, who came from Kuşadası and is an important jazz artist in the world. It has become a place where you can enjoy your time even in winter. We opened the beach business during the summer season. This place became a place that hosted guests as Sunset Beach during the day and as Maffy Jazz Club in the evening. Food and drinks are also served here. The beach we built under this area suits us very well. In addition, guests visiting the venue will be able to visit the growing area of the endemic plant tülüşah, which we declared as a botanical park located near the area. This is a place where the sun sets most beautifully in Kuşadası. We are happy to bring it to Kuşadası.”

Aydın Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Özlem Çerçioğlu stated that Kuşadası is one of the most important tourism centers in Turkey and said, “This new place added to Kuşadası was very nice for everyone. I hope the guests will have a pleasant time in this place where the view of the city is the most beautiful. We continue to serve the people of Kuşadası and Aydın with all our strength, together with our Kuşadası Mayor Ömer Günel. We work together with our president for more than 18 hours. Hopefully, we will serve together with President Ömer Günel for many more years and we are honored to serve. "We will undertake many important projects together after March," he said.
