WHERE HISTORY MEETS GREEN: KASIM YAMAN ARCHEO PARK

We have completely renovated our Kasım Yaman Archaeological Park, located in the city center of Kuşadası!

First of all, the walking paths of the park were renewed by our teams. In addition to the new walking paths built by laying 1230 square meters of granulated paving stone and 458 meters of curb, the old seating groups in the park were replaced with new ones. The number of lighting fixtures was increased from 23 to 38, and 12 garbage bins were also placed in the park. 5 new play modules were added to Kasım Yaman Park, where the playground ground was renewed and made safer for children.

The modern landscaping work applied in the park named after Kasım Yaman, one of the former mayors of Kuşadası, is highly appreciated by its visitors. Within the scope of the work carried out by Kuşadası Municipality Parks and Gardens Directorate, the green area amount of the park, which was 2180 square meters, was increased by 675 square meters to 2855 square meters. In addition, 7 birdhouses made of wooden materials were placed in the park, where germination and flower planting works were completed.

THE ARCHEOPARK IS WAITING FOR ITS VISITORS

The construction of the Archeopark, where archaeological stone artifacts and architectural building elements in Kasım Yaman Park are exhibited, has also been completed. In this context, firstly, the artifacts obtained from the Kadıkalesi excavations and unearthed from different parts of the city for approximately 35 years were arranged and put on display. You can visit our Archaeopark, which contains more than 50 artifacts from the Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman periods.
