KUŞADANS CELEBRATED LOVERS' DAY

The second 'Minstrels' Festival' event, organized with the participation of 15 minstrels and folk poets, took place in Kuşadası. 15 minstrels and minstrels who came from different provinces of Anatolia and live in Izmir attended the celebration held in front of the Güzelçamlı District Beach Market in cooperation with Kuşadası Municipality and İzmir Anatolian Minstrels Association. At the event, which attracted great attention from the people of Kuşadası, minstrels and minstrels won hearts with their melodies and beauties. In the program where local folk songs were sung, the lovers' bickering was watched with admiration.

Turgut Yılmaz, President of Izmir Anatolian Minstrels Association, stated that the tradition of minstrelsy in Anatolia has a history of 5 thousand years and said, “I would like to thank President Ömer Günel, who brought this culture to Kuşadası and hosted us. "We are proud and happy to meet you for the second time in Kuşadası today," he said.

Kuşadası Deputy Mayor Oğuzhan Turan said, “I would like to thank you very much for your participation in the Lovers' Day event, which we organized for the second time this year. We are honored to host the Lovers' Day, which carries a centuries-old culture and tradition. "We will continue to bring you cultural and artistic events all over our city," he said.

At the end of the program, flowers were given to the minstrels and minstrels by Kuşadası Deputy Mayor Oğuzhan Turan.
