KUSADASI BEACHES ARE CROWNED WITH 25 BLUE FLAGS

The flagship of Turkish tourism, Kuşadası, has once again certified the cleanliness and safety of its kilometres-long beaches with the world’s most distinguished environmental and tourism award, the Blue Flag. In 2025, 25 beaches and a marina in Kuşadası were awarded the Blue Flag, which means ‘clean sea, safe service’ in the international tourism market. Kuşadası Municipality, which has been awarded the Blue Flag for all public beaches under its responsibility, has demonstrated its success in sustainable beach and environmental management this year as well.

Within the scope of the Blue Flag Program, which is coordinated by the Turkish Environmental Education Foundation (TÜRÇEV) and based on the criteria set by the International Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), the beaches and marinas which will be awarded the Blue Flag in 2025 have been determined. Following the completion of the inspections conducted by TÜRÇEV officials, Blue Flags began to grace 25 beaches and one marina in Kuşadası.

NO COMPROMISE ON THE BLUE FLAG CRITERIA

In order for a beach to receive a Blue Flag, many criteria such as bathing water quality, sea water cleanliness, environmental education and information, life safety and service quality are taken into consideration. Kuşadası Municipality, which is determined to increase and protect the number of Blue Flags in the city, continues its work on the beaches under its responsibility in line with the Blue Flag criteria. Kuşadası Municipality, which has earned the right to receive the Blue Flag with 6 beaches in its area of ​​responsibility in 2025 with these works, does not compromise on international criteria with the necessary inspection and information work on beaches belonging to accommodation facilities and businesses.

The Ada Kum Public Beach, Ada Camping Sevgi Beach, Kuştur Public Beach, Güvercinada Public Beach, Ladies Beach Public Beach and Green Beach Public Beach, which are under the authority of Kuşadası Municipality, continue to be the address of a clean and safe holiday this year. Public beaches are also preferred due to the free umbrella and sunbed application launched by Kuşadası Municipality last year.

CLEAN AND SAFE BEACHES

Kuşadası beaches stand out not only for their cleanliness, hygiene, and comfort, but also for the peace and security they provide. Kuşadası Municipality continues to take the necessary precautions to ensure the safety of life and property of city residents and visitors using the beaches within its authority. The 24/7 security cameras placed on the beaches and professional lifeguards who provide service throughout the day add security to the joy of the sea.

BLUE FLAGS WILL BE  RAISED

The Blue Flags received from TÜRÇEV officials by Kuşadası Municipality Cleaning Works Department will be raised at Setur Marina and the following beaches;
