KUŞADASI MUNICIPALITY AND MESEM JOINED HANDS: PARTNERSHIP FOR 'BLUE BREATH'!
Kuşadası Municipality added a new one to its environmentally friendly projects by becoming the main solution partner of the “Blue Breath, Green Future” project initiated by the students of Kuşadası Vocational Training Centre (MESEM). Within the scope of the project, the marine ecosystem is being protected through cleaning and awareness activities carried out along the coastline.
Kuşadası Municipality, which continues its efforts to protect the natural beauty of Kuşadası and leave a cleaner environment for future generations, has signed a new meaningful collaboration. Fully supporting the 'Blue Breath, Green Future' project prepared by Kuşadası MESEM students, the municipality has combined its logistics capabilities and field teams with the environmentally conscious vision of the young people. Within this scope, with the support of the Kuşadası Municipal Cleaning Works Department teams, students conducted a comprehensive coastal analysis in the coastal strip and port area. Taking charge of the transportation and sorting processes of the collected waste, Kuşadası Municipality became the strongest force of the project on the field.
THE LABOUR OF YOUNG MASTERS ON THE BEACHES OF KUSADASI.
In the project, the marine protection signs and special waste units produced by students by themselves in the school workshops were also installed at strategic points on the coast line and at fishermen's shelters under the coordination of the Kuşadası Municipal teams. In this way, the Kuşadası beaches were not only cleaned, but also equipped with permanent information points.

Municipal officials, highlighting the importance of the project for Kuşadası, stated that as the local administration they always stand by the side of young people in such social responsibility projects, and expressed the following;

We are very pleased to participate in this meaningful project of our MESEM students with our logistical and field support. When the environmental awareness and professional skills of our young people combined with the service vision of our municipality, a work which will be an example for all of Türkiye emerged.
