KUŞADASI MUNICIPALITY GIVES RAMADAN AID TO 3 THOUSAND FAMILIES

“HEARTS ARE ONE, TABLES ARE TOGETHER IN KUŞADASI”

Kuşadası Municipality has started to deliver food aid packages prepared for the month of Ramadan to the homes of individuals and families in need. Kuşadası residents who received the food packages thanked Mayor Ömer Günel.

Kuşadası Municipality, which has drawn attention with its social municipality activities throughout the year, has started food package aid for individuals and families in need due to the month of Ramadan. Within this scope, 3 thousand solidarity packages were prepared by Kuşadası Municipality with the contribution of benefactors upon the call made by Mayor Ömer Günel. The packages containing basic food items were delivered people in need living in Camiatik, Hacıfeyzullah, İkiçeşmelik and Dağ district by the Municipal Social Aid Works Department teams. Citizens who received their packages expressed their pleasure with the service provided during the month of Ramadan and thanked Mayor Ömer Günel.

Kuşadası Deputy Mayor Seyfi Seyhan Suvari, who stated that Ramadan is a month of cooperation and solidarity, said;

“As Kuşadası Municipality, we do not leave our fellow citizens in need alone during Ramadan. We will provide food package assistance to 3 thousand families throughout Ramadan. This number may increase with the evaluation of requests and applications. Our food packages have a rich content of 18 items, each weighing two kilos. They were prepared to meet the basic food needs of a family of 4 for a month. The importance of solidarity increases day by day in the economic problems and crisis environment experienced by our country. I wish all our fellow citizens a peaceful Ramadan.”
