KUŞADASI MUNICIPALITY KEEPS OLIVE TREES ALIVE

Kuşadası Municipality continues to protect trees at risk of being cut down and move them to green areas at various points during the ongoing infrastructure and superstructure works throughout the city.

Since Mayor Ömer Günel took office in 2019, Kuşadası Municipality has been continuously working to bring new green spaces to the city. It has also been protecting and preserving trees at risk of being cut down during road and infrastructure work. In this context, an olive tree which was hindering progress during road construction on 508th Street in Ladies Beach District, recently begun by the Public Works and Engineering Department teams, was carefully uprooted by Parks and Gardens Department teams and relocated to another location in the same area. Nature lovers have commended Kuşadası Municipality's commitment to protecting the environment and green spaces.
