KUŞADASI MUNICIPALITY PREPARES THE CITY FOR WINTER

Teams affiliated with the Kuşadası Municipality Directorate of Technical Affairs have accelerated their work on laying new rainwater lines all over the city in order to prevent possible floods before the upcoming winter season.

Kuşadası Municipality has intensified its efforts to prevent any negativities that may occur before the rains that are expected to be effective in the coming months. In the work carried out by teams affiliated with the Directorate of Technical Affairs, rainwater lines are laid at designated points on streets and avenues that are likely to be affected by rain. The teams, which completed their work in Cumhuriyet District, whose infrastructure and superstructure were recently renewed, lastly carried out rainwater line laying work on 3512 street in Değirmendere District, following the superstructure renovation works. The teams will continue their work with Turkmen, Hacıfeyzullah and Dağ Districts.

Kuşadası Mayor Ömer Günel stated that the comfort of the city's residents is always a priority and said, "Since the first day we took office, we have been continuing our work to provide permanent and long-term solutions to the problems of our city. "In this context, our teams, which continue their infrastructure and superstructure works all over our city, have concentrated on laying additional rainwater lines at certain points against the negativities that may occur before the upcoming winter season," he said.
