The "Home Care Unit", established by Kuşadası Municipality to provide elderly and disabled citizens with the care they need in the home environment, continues to serve with great care. The Home Care Unit provides personal care and house cleaning for citizens in need.

The Home Care Unit, affiliated with the Social Assistance Affairs Directorate, established by Kuşadası Municipality for its citizens who have difficulty in doing housework and personal care due to being bedridden, elderly or disabled, continues its work. The team of 13 people visits an average of 320 households per month and carries out house cleaning and personal care for people in need. Home Care Unit personnel visit an average of 16 houses every day and report the renovations and repairs they see to the Directorate of Technical Affairs officials. People whose social examination has been completed after their applications and who are deemed suitable to benefit from the service are very satisfied with the service they receive. The Home Care unit is also working to expand its staff in a short time in order to provide better quality and better service to the city's residents.

Emine Çetinkaya, who lives in Ege District and has been benefiting from home care services for a long time, stated that the home care team comes once a week for house cleaning and that she is very pleased, and said, “I would like to thank Kuşadası Municipality for providing this service to us. It is difficult for me to clean the house due to my age and my illnesses. Thanks to the Social Assistance Affairs Home Care team, our job becomes much easier. “I thank our president very much,” she said.
