Kuşadası, the tourism capital of Turkey, took its place in EMITT. The stand, which was opened under the leadership of Kuşadası Municipality and in cooperation with tourism professionals, attracted great attention from the first moment.

Eastern Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Fair (EMITT) opened its doors in Istanbul for the 25th time. The Kuşadası stand, which was opened at the fair to promote the city's natural, historical and cultural riches and accommodation opportunities, was flooded with visitors. Ada Camping, which was built on Davutlar Sevgi Beach in cooperation with Kuşadası Municipality and Aydın Metropolitan Municipality, left its mark on the Kuşadası stand. Ada Camping, which was designed in line with the "new tourism" approach that emerged after the pandemic and hosted thousands of campers in the last tourism season, also attracted great attention at EMITT. The Kuşadası stand at EMITT, one of the five largest tourism fairs in the world and hosting world tourism professionals and holiday consumers, attracted attention with its colorful and original design.

Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy and Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu were among the people who visited the Kuşadası stand on the first day of EMITT, with the participation of Kuşadası Mayor Ömer Günel.

Kuşadası Mayor Ömer Günel said that after two years in the shadow of the pandemic, expectations are high for the 2022 tourism season. Pointing out that Kuşadası is the place where tourism started in Turkey, Mayor Ömer Günel said, “Our city Kuşadası has been the most important center of mass tourism for many years with the influence of its natural, historical and cultural riches. In addition to all these values ​​it has, it has also demonstrated a great performance in adapting to changing trends and the new understanding of tourism, especially after the pandemic, with its alternative tourism potential. As Kuşadası Municipality, we started to make our investments in areas suitable for the changing tourism concepts of the changing world. Our Ada Camping project is among the best examples of this. "The construction work of Kampinova, which is designed as an education, event and accommodation area in nature, is continuing," he said. Stating that EMITT, which brings together participants, sector representatives and consumers, is of great importance, Mayor Ömer Günel said, “As Kuşadası Municipality, we took our place in EMITT 2022 in cooperation with our tourism professionals to bring our city together with all its values ​​and riches with the representatives of the tourism sector.
