KUŞADASI'S HYGIENE WARRIORS ON DUTY

Değirmendere NEIGHBORHOOD HAS BECOME BRIGHT

Within the scope of detailed hygiene and disinfection works carried out throughout the city by Kuşadası Municipality Cleaning Affairs Directorate, all avenues, streets and parks of Değirmendere District were cleaned every corner.

The teams of the Cleaning Affairs Directorate of Kuşadası Municipality continue their hygiene and disinfection works without interruption. The teams, which clean the city regularly every day, focus on different neighborhoods within the determined program. In this context, the last stop of the Cleaning Affairs Directorate teams was Değirmendere District. With the work supported by Aydın Metropolitan Municipality teams, all avenues, streets and squares of the region were washed with 90-degree hot water using fortified herbal formula detergents that do not harm the environment.

WORKPLACE AND STOPS WERE DISINFECTED

The teams then disinfected surfaces frequently visited and contacted by citizens, including workplaces, taxi stands, children's playgrounds in parks, sports equipment and recreation areas. Galvanized garbage containers were cleaned of dirt and odor using high temperature water and special solutions. The work of the Cleaning Affairs Directorate teams, who serve as hygiene warriors of Kuşadası, was also welcomed by the citizens.

Yunus Can, one of the residents of Değirmendere District, said, “We appreciate the work of Kuşadası Municipality. Hygiene and cleanliness are of great importance, especially these days when coronavirus cases are on the rise again. "Thanks to the work, both we adults and our children can wander the streets and go to parks with peace of mind," he said.

Taxi driver tradesman Süleyman Karagün said, “First of all, I would like to thank the Cleaning Affairs Directorate teams who cleaned our neighborhood and disinfected our taxi stand. Kuşadası Municipality works non-stop to keep our city clean. "There is a big change in our city after our Mayor Ömer Günel took office," he said.
