MAYOR ÖMER GÜNEL: “KAMPINOVA WILL BE THE ONLY ADDRESS OF DIGITAL NOMADS IN TURKEY”

Mayor Ömer Günel visited Kampinova, which is under construction by Kuşadası Municipality at Davutlar Sevgi Beach, in order to make the city the center of the new tourism concept, and examined the works on site. Mayor Ömer Günel stated that after the completion of the works, the award-winning project Kampinova, which will be added to urban tourism in a short time, will be the only training and camping area in Turkey for digital nomads working independently of time and place.

Work continues unabated on the Kampinova Project, which was designed by Kuşadası Municipality in accordance with the changing understanding of tourism and education with the coronavirus and implemented in cooperation with Habitat Association and Aydın Metropolitan Municipality. Kampinova, which is under construction on an area of approximately 15 thousand square meters on Davutlar Sevgi Beach, will include education, workshops, tents, sports, events, stages, shows, recreation, common work areas, bungalow houses and social facilities.

AWARD-WINning PROJECT SUITABLE FOR THE DIGITAL AGE

Digital nomads who come to Kampinova, which will offer its guests an innovation-oriented work and holiday opportunity in nature, will also have the opportunity to participate in various events and festivals that will be organized for them. Kampinova, which was deemed worthy of an award in the 'Youth Friendly Cities Idea, Project and Application Competition' organized by the Union of Municipalities of Turkey (TBB), will also organize trainings in line with the demands of Generation Y and Z and the requirements of the digital age.

Kuşadası Mayor Ömer Günel examined the work carried out on the project, which is planned to be completed at the beginning of November. Mayor Ömer Günel, Aydın Metropolitan Municipality project officials, ARYA A.Ş. Chairman Tümer Apaydın and unit managers also attended and received information about the latest state of the works.

Stating that Kampinova will be the only training and camping area in Turkey for digital nomads, President Ömer Günel said, “Our teams are meticulously working on Kampinova, which we will realize as a training and holiday area for employees whom we call digital nomads, who carry out their work independently of time and place. continues its work. We will complete the work in the field around the beginning of November and make the Kampinova project ready for operation. Our main goal is to offer Kampinova with full performance in the 2024 season. In Kampinova, which will be operational in an area of approximately 15 thousand square meters, we will carry out social projects and this will be a great area that will contribute to the education of our young people. It will also be a special accommodation area for digital nomads. "Currently, Aydın Metropolitan Municipality, Kuşadası Municipality and ARYA teams are working together here and they are doing a great job," he said.
