NATURAL GAS LINE IN KUŞADASI REACHED 300 KILOMETERS

Kuşadası Municipality continues its investments to become a healthier, more economical and environmentally friendly city. ENERYA, which increases its natural gas investments in the city every year within the scope of harmony and cooperation with institutions under the leadership of Mayor Ömer Günel, will lay 32 thousand meters more natural gas lines in the area covering 4 neighborhoods by the end of the year.

Natural gas investments, which started with the declaration of Yavansu and Değirmendere neighborhoods in Kuşadası as pilot areas in 2016, started to rise rapidly after Mayor Ömer Günel took office. Natural gas distribution company ENERYA has increased the length of the natural gas distribution line in Kuşadası by 2 and a half times, from 92.5 kilometers to 237.5 kilometers, as of April 2019, thanks to the work carried out in harmony and cooperation. The number of subscribers using natural gas, a clean and economical energy source, increased 9 and a half times, from 2 thousand 500 to 23 thousand 844. The number of potential subscribers increased from 12 thousand 342 to approximately 44 thousand.

As of 2023, a total of 10 neighborhoods, including Cumhuriyet, Yavansu, Değirmendere, Kadinlar Denizi, Hacıfeyzullah, Ege, İkiçeşmelik, Karaova and Bayraklıdede Neighborhoods, as well as a part of Türkmen Neighborhood, will benefit from the comfort of natural gas, while the length of the natural gas line is planned to increase to 300 kilometers by the end of 2023. . The work carried out with the aim of spreading the use of natural gas throughout the city in Kuşadası continues with the Kadinlar Denizi, Değirmendere and Karaova neighborhoods. The teams will continue their work in September in Türkmen District, which is the oldest settlement in Kuşadası and was included in the natural gas planning with the initiatives of Mayor Ömer Günel.
