NEOPOLIS HOSTED LITTLE SCULPTORS

The 5th International Neopolis Sculpture Symposium, organized in collaboration with the Kuşadası Municipality and the Mehmet Nuri Göçen (MN Göçen) Foundation, with contributions from the Marmara Adalar Municipality, hosted young sculptors. Children participating in the workshop created clay sculptures.

Children arrived in groups from early morning to witness the adventure of shaping clay under the supervision of professional sculptors. Ninety children, divided into four separate groups, participated in the workshop, where they learned the intricacies of sculpture and had the opportunity to unleash their imaginations. The workshop, which was also attended with great interest by parents, was a scene of colourful and joyful scenes. The joy on the children's faces throughout the day's event once again demonstrated the unifying and healing power of art. Certificates were presented to the children by Duygu Günel, wife of Kuşadası Mayor Ömer Günel.

The 5th International Kuşadası Neopolis Sculpture Symposium, held this year with the theme "Justice," will conclude with a closing ceremony tomorrow (Thursday) at 4:00 PM at the Old Camel Wrestling Ground in Kuştur. Kuşadası Mayor Ömer Günel will also attend the ceremony.
