PRESIDENT ÖMER GÜNEL JOINED THE MOURNING FASTING DINNER

Kuşadası Mayor Ömer Günel, together with Kuşadası District Governor Sadettin Yücel, attended the Mourning Fast Breaking Dinner organized by Hacı Bektaş Veli Anatolian Culture Foundation Kuşadası Cemevi.

A mourning fast breaking dinner was held at Hacı Bektaş Veli Anatolian Culture Foundation Kuşadası Cemevi on the occasion of Muharram. Kuşadası District Governor Sadettin Yücel, Kuşadası Mayor Ömer Günel, deputy mayors, municipal council members, CHP Kuşadası District Chairman Mehmet Gürbilek and Hacı Bektaş Veli Anatolian Culture Foundation Kuşadası Branch President Erdal Kılınç attended the fast-breaking dinner along with many Alevi citizens. Messages of peace and brotherhood were given at the fast-breaking dinner, where prayers were read and sayings were recited.

Kuşadası Mayor Ömer Günel stated that he was honored to accompany the Alevi citizens to the Mourning Fast Breaking Dinner and said, "This evening, we broke our Mourning Fast with our lives at the Hacı Bektaş Veli Anatolian Culture Foundation Kuşadası Cem House. "I hope that the fasts and good deeds of all those who observe the Muharrem Fast will be accepted," he said.
