RAMADAN GOOD NEWS FROM KUŞADASI MUNICIPALITY TO TRADESMEN OF THE CITY!

Kuşadası Mayor Ömer Günel, drawing attention to the spirit of friendship and solidarity carried by the month of Ramadan, said;

 “As Kuşadası Municipality, we will continue to share our tables with our fellow citizens in Ramadan, just like we do in the 12 months of the year.”

Speaking at the City Council meeting, Mayor Ömer Günel wished the spiritual climate brought by Ramadan to be auspicious. Good news also came to the enclosed market tradesmen at the council meeting. The tradesmen-friendly Kuşadası Municipality offered another support to the market tradesmen who had difficulty paying their stall rents due to the economic crisis and increased the number of payment instalments.

“WE STAND BY OUR CITIZENS 12 MONTHS OF THE YEAR”

The regular meeting of Kuşadası Municipality Council for March was held at Pera Culture, Wedding, and Organization Hall under the leadership of Mayor Ömer Günel. The meeting, which coincided with the first day of Ramadan, featured social aid activities on the agenda. Deputy Mayor Seyfi Seyhan Suvari, who is responsible for social aid, provided information about the activities to be carried out during Ramadan. Deputy Mayor Suvari stated that the food parcel aid provided by Kuşadası Municipality throughout the year will continue to increase throughout Ramadan.

REGULAR FOOD SUPPORT TO 3 THOUSAND FAMILIES

Noting that they will be providing food package aid to 3 thousand families during the month of Ramadan, Deputy Mayor Seyfi Seyhan Suvari said;

 “The number may increase with the evaluation of demands and applications. Our food packages have a rich content of 18 items, each weighing two kilos. They are prepared to meet the basic food needs of a family of four for one month.”

11 IFTAR TABLES WILL BE SET

Stating that 11 iftar tables will be set up in the city by Kuşadası Municipality and Aydın Metropolitan Municipality during the month of Ramadan, Seyfi Seyhan Suvari stated that the necessary support will be provided to philanthropist fellow citizens who want to give iftar dinner.

CONTRIBUTION TO RECYCLING WITH ADALI CARD

Another topic discussed at the meeting was the use of the Adalı Card, which offers various discounts and advantages to those residing in Kuşadası, in the field of recycling. Speaking about the article presented to the assembly by the Zero Waste Department regarding the recycling of household waste oils, Mayor Ömer Günel said;

“We want the Adalı Card, which has reached 56 member businesses and 36 thousand users outside of Arya Facilities in a short period of one year, to also function in terms of encouraging recycling. For this purpose, our citizens who deliver their household waste oil to a licensed company will have points loaded onto their Adalı Cards that they can use at other member businesses.”
