RECORD INVESTMENT FROM KUŞADASI MUNICIPALITY DESPITE THE PANDEMIC

Kuşadası Municipality, which increased its revenue from 197 million 189 thousand 567 in 2020 by 23.54 percent in 2021, broke a record by increasing its investments throughout the city in 2021 by 241.2 percent compared to the previous year.

Kuşadası, which entered a period of great change after Mayor Ömer Günel took office, is faced with the largest investment in its history. Kuşadası Municipality, which invested a total of 160 million 734 thousand 588 TL in the last 3 years to make Kuşadası a modern and aesthetic tourism city, broke a record in 2021.

INCREASE OF 241.2 PERCENT IN ONE YEAR

Kuşadası Municipality, which invested 33 million 718 thousand 227 TL in the city during 2020 under pandemic conditions, invested 115 million 47 thousand 923 TL in 2021. It increased the investment amount by 241.2 percent in 2021 compared to the previous year. Kuşadası Municipality, under the management of Ömer Günel, has recorded a 409.29 percent increase in the amount of investment in the past 3 years, compared to the 5-year period before April 2019.

FINANCIAL DISCIPLINE BROUGHT AN INCREASE IN REVENUE

Kuşadası Municipality increased its revenue from 197 million 189 thousand 567 in 2020 by 23.54 percent to 243 million 600 thousand 664 TL in 2021. With the financial discipline, savings measures and revenue-increasing efforts implemented, Kuşadası Municipality's revenues increased by 15.99 percent compared to the 5-year period before April 2019. Kuşadası Municipality paid 39 million 710 thousand 242 TL of its loan debts to the banks it took over from the previous 5-year period.
