SUMMER ABUNDANCE COMES TO LIFE IN KUŞADASI WITH ADABAHÇE

The summer harvest continues in the fertile fields of Adabahçe, an initiative launched during the tenure of Mayor Ömer Günel with the aim of developing local agricultural production and enabling consumers to access healthy food directly, without intermediaries. As part of the initiative, fresh vegetables and fruits harvested from Adabahçe are being delivered to the tables of Kuşadası residents at affordable prices through Halk Ada Market.

At Adabahçe, where the first seedlings were planted six years ago under the slogan “Embrace the Soil, Join Production,” the harvest of a variety of delicious vegetables and fruits ripened under the summer sun is well underway. Following a highly productive winter harvest, the fertile fields are now yielding vegetables planted in May, including cucumbers, Armenian cucumbers, eggplants, tomatoes, zucchini, and green peppers, as well as melons and watermelons.

CAREFULLY PREPARED FOR SALE

Products grown at Adabahçe are carefully prepared for sale by Kuşadası Municipality on the very day they are harvested. They are then delivered to the Halk Ada Market store located on Candan Tarhan Boulevard in Türkmen District, where they are offered to Kuşadası residents at affordable prices.

The fact that the produces from Adabahçe, an initiative introduced by Mayor Ömer Günel, continues to enrich the tables of Kuşadası residents during the tenure of Acting  Mayor Tahsin Demirtaş, who places particular emphasis on continuity of municipal services, has been welcomed by local residents.
