TINY HANDS WERE THE GUESTS OF THE MOBILE WASTE RECOVERY CENTER

A recycling workshop was organized by Kuşadası Municipality at the Parents and Children Center in order for children to gain environmental awareness at a young age. In the workshop, children between the ages of 3 and 6 made waste bins from plastic water bottles with their mothers. Then, they took the materials they brought from home, such as batteries, glass bottles and paper, to the Mobile Waste Collection Center and threw them into the crates.

A recycling workshop was organized for little ones between the ages of 3-6 at the Mother-Father Child Center located within the Güler Aydın Süzgeç Social Facility in the Cafer Kotan Life Park, which was brought to the city by Mayor Ömer Günel in İkiçeşmelik District. Families also participated in the event, which was held to raise children's awareness about the environment and nature protection. At the beginning of the workshop, the little ones were informed about zero waste and recycling by Ayşe Özoğul, personnel of Kuşadası Municipality Cleaning Affairs Directorate.

As part of the recycling workshop, the little ones, together with their mothers, made waste bins from plastic water bottles that they could use at home. Then, he decorated these boxes with various materials and made them cute. In the last part, the children, accompanied by their parents, took the waste such as batteries, cardboard, metal boxes and plastic, which they brought from their homes or collected from the environment, to the Mobile Waste Collection Center established in İkiçeşmelik District by their parents and threw them into the crates.
