Türkiye MEET AT KUŞADASI STREET FESTIVAL

There was intense interest in Turkey's first thematic street festival, organized for the second time this year by Kuşadası Municipality and Kuşadası Golden Pigeon Culture, Art and Promotion Foundation (KUSAV). Kuşadası Street Festival, which took place under the titles of "Taste on the Street", "Entertainment on the Street", "Music on the Street" and "Art on the Street" under the consultancy of Ayhan Sicimoğlu, brought the rich gastronomy culture of the earthquake region to the city as well as the local flavors of the Aegean, bringing the rich gastronomy culture of the earthquake region to the city. It hosted thousands of people on one side.

KUŞADASI STREETS TURNED INTO A FESTIVAL AREA

Kuşadası Street Festival started with a cortege march starting from Kısmet Hotel Junction and ending at İsmail Cem Friendship and Peace Square. The dance and acrobatics performed by associations, foundations, dance schools, jugglers, orchestras and performance groups during the march created colorful images reminiscent of carnivals. Following the cortege, the popular music group KÖFN took the festival enthusiasm to the top by performing their popular songs in İsmail Cem Friendship and Peace Square.

INTENSIVE PARTICIPATION IN GASTRONOMY WORKSHOPS AND CONVERSATIONS

The workshops held with the participation of famous chefs on the stage set up in the Historical Caravanserai within the scope of the festival attracted great attention from gastronomy enthusiasts. The events started with the Olive Oil Explanation and Tasting Workshop with the participation of Ayhan Sicimoğlu, and the cooked seafood kaskek and sour soup specific to Kahramanmaraş left an unforgettable taste on the palate. Steamed sea bass with plums and rice with broad beans and dill, prepared by the famous chef Hazer Amani, who was a guest on the third day of the festival, delighted the palate with its delicious taste.

A FAST OF TASTE AT 11 POINTS

Kuşadası Street Festival became more colorful with tasting workshops as well as taste stops. This year, citizens had the opportunity to cooperate with the earthquake victims with the income obtained from the taste points where delicious dishes of the earthquake region were served. Local dishes such as Elazığ Harput soup, Kilis Öcce, Adıyaman raw meatballs, Hatay kisir pilaf, Malatya apricot roast, Şanlıurfa beli kirack pilaf, served at flavor stops established at 11 different points of the city, were met with great interest.

FLOOD OF PEOPLE TO KUŞADASI WITH 3 TENORS

The concert titled "3 Tenors" by Turkey's most successful tenors Murat Karahan, Efe Kışlalı and Hakan Aysev, at İsmail Cem Dostluk and Barış Square, was one of the most interesting parts of the festival. Approximately 5 thousand people watched the famous tenors performing a distinguished repertoire at the concert, which was held with the symphony orchestra of 30 people. Citizens who could not fit into the concert area listened to the concert from the sidewalk and the garden of the new municipality building.

ENTERTAINMENT HAS BEEN TAKEN TO THE STREET

Samos Music and Dance Band, Rumelia Band, Kuşadası Roman Band, Aslıhan Parlak, Ege Kabalak Modern Meczup, Melih Gezmen and Mete Çiftçi, Pantomime, Graffiti Wall, Ada Art Painting Workshop, Çınar Köy Zeybek team, Aydın performed on the stages set up in 9 different parts of the city during the festival. The shows performed by the Metropolitan Municipality Women Efeler, Let's Swing, Pinions and Armillaria brought the festival enthusiasm to its peak. Children had fun at the events held at Kasım Yaman Archaeological Park.

GIANT ASHURE OFFER FOR 15 THOUSAND PEOPLE

Combining flavor, music, art and entertainment for 3 days in Kuşadası, Kuşadası Street Festival ended with the ashura treat for 15 thousand people, cooked in a 5-ton cauldron with ingredients brought from 11 provinces affected by the earthquake that occurred on February 6. Ashura, made from a combination of 39 types of products by 60 cooks from different cities of Turkey, was boiled in a giant cauldron and ready in approximately 12 hours. Ashura, which was distributed to citizens in the evening, attracted great attention.
